To do so, start the slide show in its own window instead of in full screen, and share that window using the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.alfaview.com\/en\/alfaview-app\/alfaview-room\/primary-and-secondary-controls\/screen-and-audio-share\/#application-share\">Application share<\/a> feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-alfaview-callout\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These instructions describe the procedure on Microsoft Windows using Microsoft PowerPoint. Other presentation programs offer comparable settings under different names.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"preparing-the-powerpoint-presentation\">Preparing the PowerPoint presentation<a href=\"#preparing-the-powerpoint-presentation\" class=\"av-heading-anchor\"><i class=\"bi bi-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apply the following settings <strong>before<\/strong> you start the slide show:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the <strong>Slide Show<\/strong> tab in PowerPoint.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Set Up Slide Show<\/strong>. That way your notes, your email program and any other open windows stay invisible to the participants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Before your training session, check whether the arrangement works for you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are able to connect a second screen, using PowerPoint\u2019s Presenter View on one screen and alfaview on the other is the more comfortable option.
