The Settings<\/strong> tab provides various options for your video and camera settings. You can select your preferred camera, virtual backgrounds and the quality of your second camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click on the \"Settings Settings<\/strong> icon in the secondary menu, then click on the menu item Video<\/strong> to access all available settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camera<\/i><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Click on the Camera<\/strong> menu item to select the camera from which you want to stream the video. You will also see a preview of what the video will look like when it is streamed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select the camera by clicking on its name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Virtual backgrounds<\/i><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Choose a coloured background or a pre-selected background from the menu item Virtual backgrounds<\/strong>. You can also blur your background here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colour backgrounds<\/i><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the Colour backgrounds<\/strong> tab, you can choose between single-coloured and colour gradient backgrounds. Click on the background you want to use.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Standard backgrounds<\/i><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You can blur your background in the Standard backgrounds<\/strong> tab. To do this, click on the Blur<\/strong> preview image. Click on the Blur strength<\/strong> icon in the top right corner of the preview image to open the menu. Select your preferred blur level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click on one of the other preview images to use a default virtual background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To disable the virtual background feature, click on the None<\/strong> menu item.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Study backgrounds<\/i><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Study backgrounds<\/strong> tab provides additional virtual backgrounds for you to choose from. Click on the preview image you want to use as your background.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Screen share bandwidth usage<\/i><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Decide whether you want to broadcast your screen sharing with reduced<\/strong> or normal<\/strong> bandwidth usage. Reduced bandwidth is useful if you have a poor internet connection, as your screen will still be shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second camera quality<\/i><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Second camera quality<\/strong> menu allows you to choose between 480p, 720p and 1080p video resolutions for your second camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Improve video quality<\/i><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Enable the Improve video quality<\/strong> feature by clicking on the switch. When this feature is enabled, the colour and depth of your video will be adjusted to improve the video quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mirror my video for me<\/i><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mirror your video by clicking on the switch. Your video will not be mirrored for the other participants in the alfaview room.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Legacy Camera Compatibility<\/i><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This setting is only available on older devices or external cameras.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
