No special permissions are required to create a meeting. Each temporary meeting has its own title and agenda. If you do not change the default settings, the meeting will start immediately after being created.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Time zone:&nbsp;<\/strong>Select the time zone in which the meeting will take place.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Duration:&nbsp;<\/strong>Determine how long the meeting will last.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Groups:&nbsp;<\/strong>The number of the groups indicates how many subgroups are within your meeting. Click on the drop-down menu to select one or more subgroups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Early access:<\/strong>&nbsp;You can allow participants to enter your room before the meeting starts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Waiting room:&nbsp;<\/strong>You can activate or deactivate the meeting\u2019s waiting room. If you activate the waiting room, participants won\u2019t be able to enter your meeting until you or other the moderators give them permission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Passcode protection: <\/strong>Password protection: You can enable or disable passcode protection for your meeting. This also means that you won\u2019t be able to make any changes after creating the meeting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"invite-people-to-your-meeting\">Invite people to your meeting<a href=\"#invite-people-to-your-meeting\" class=\"av-heading-anchor\"><i class=\"bi bi-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"guest-links\">Guest links<a href=\"#guest-links\" class=\"av-heading-anchor\"><i class=\"bi bi-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>You can invite people to your meeting from the <strong>Invitees <\/strong>tab. These people will receive a personalised invitation email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can either invite them manually by entering the email address, name and role or you upload a CSV file. Separate the email address, the name and the role (not mandatory) using a comma or semicolon. In each line, there should only be the information of one participant. This will help transferring the information correctly into the invitation mask.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"group-links\">Group links<a href=\"#group-links\" class=\"av-heading-anchor\"><i class=\"bi bi-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Group links are generated after you create the meeting. These links allow you to invite multiple people with the same role at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on the <button class=\"av-button av-button--primary\">Create meeting<\/button>&nbsp;button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After creating the meeting, you can copy group links with the different roles as well as the passcode and send them to the participants via your preferred communication medium.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also access the group links at a later point of time by using the <a href=\"\/en\/administration\/meetings\/edit-meeting\/\">Edit meeting<\/a> feature.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\"><div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/support.alfaview.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/alfaview_administration_meeting-created_en.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"538\" src=\"https:\/\/support.alfaview.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/alfaview_administration_meeting-created_en.png\" alt=\"Once the meeting has been created, you will receive a group link to the meeting. All other participants need the invitation link to join a meeting.
